The schedule for major privatizations, such as Egnatia Motorway, HELPE, Athens International Airport “El. Venizelos “and the Public Gas Corporation (aka DEPA), and new projects, such as the natural gas undergound storage in South Kavala, as well as marinas, such as those in Rhodes, Mykonos and others, are included in the revised Operational Program of HRADF, which was approved on February 15 and was published in the Official Government Gazette.

The program includes 24 assets, as follows:

4. Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (AIA)

5. Marinas

6. Egnatia Motorway

7. Hellenic Petroleums (HELPE)

8. Public Power Company (aka DEI)

9. Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Thessaloniki (aka EYATH)

10. Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Athens (aka EYDAP)

11. Public Gas Corporation (DEPA)

12. Underground Natural Gas Storage Facility in South Kavala

13. Properties in Afandou, Rhodes island

14. Properties to be auctioned in Online Auctions VII and VIII

15. Castello Bibelli estate in Corfu island

16. Land properties in the municipality of Markopoulo, Attica

17. XENIA property and Kythnos Spa

18. Property in Kammena Vourla Spa Town

19. Kammena Vourla camping site

20. Property in Thermopyles, Central Greece

21. Property in Gournes, Heraklion (Crete island)

22. Former property of ERT (Greece’s public broadcaster) in Perea area, Thessaloniki

23. Former construction sites and premises of Rio-Antirio Bridge project in Western Greece (ABK 314)

24. Former EOMMEX property, at the corner of Koryzis and Thrakis Str., in the municipality of Tavros-Moschato, Attica

About some of the above actions:

– For AIA “El. Venizelos”, the preparation of the transaction for the sale HRADF’s shares, is underway while the target is for the launch of the process after the signing of the contract regarding the concession extension till 2046.

– In Mykonos, the process of selecting and recruiting consultants for the exploitation of the island’s marina and cruise commercial activities is expected to begin in the first half of 2019.

– For the exloitation of Rhodes Marina, the process for the selection of the consultants is expected sometime in the first half of 2019.

– For the privatization of HELPE, bids are expected to be submitted in the first quarter of this year.

– HRADF is also expected to evaluate the alternative strategic options for the utilization of the 17% stake of PPC 

– Regarding DEPA, the objective is for the competitive bidding process for the 50%+1 stake of the Greek State to begin, within at least a month after the voting of the relevant legislation that will separate the company’s commercial and infrastructure branches. Tendering procedure for the utilization the Greek State’s 14% in the infrastructure branch of DEPA is expected to commence right after the completion of the bids for the commercial activities.
