Mega tender for the new Government Park via PPP in Athens is now live

The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), a member company of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations, announces the commencement of the competitive process for the development of the “Andreas Lentakis” Government Park, which is estimated to have a value of 421 million euros (plus VAT).

The Government Park will be developed on a 154-acre site and will include the creation of a new administrative office complex on the premises of the former EBO – PYRKAL facilities. This project also involves the development of a large urban park that will serve as a “green lung” for the broader area of the Municipality of Dafni–Ymittos in the Attica Region.

The project will be carried out through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), and the preferred investor will be responsible for the construction, financing, maintenance, and operation of the new administrative building complex and the urban park for 30 years.

The competitive process will be conducted in two phases. The first phase involves the pre-selection of candidates based on technical and financial capability criteria, and the second phase consists of submitting binding financial offers. Interested investors are invited to submit an expression of interest dossier by September 6, 2024.

The Governmental Committee appointed the Strategic Importance Contracts Unit (PPF) of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund to oversee the maturation, conduct the tender process, and monitor contract execution for project implementation.

The creation of the Government Park is one of the most significant PPP projects ever announced in the country and an emblematic investment with multiple economic, social, and environmental benefits: consolidation of fragmented services into a single space, resource savings for the state, and enhancement of the quality of life for the residents of the broader area of the Municipality of Dafni-Ymittos.
