Change in the dominance of projects

What we observe is that at this time the dominant major projects in the country are fixed track (railway and Metro projects) but also important energy projects.

In the next period, which concerns the next 12 months, this list is going to change as some projects are completed but some other projects will be seen entering. New and long-awaited projects that are estimated to start are Patras-Pyrgos and the flyover of Peripheral Thessaloniki.

In general, this year has been a year in which we see significant reshuffles in the grading of major projects with the predominant element now the absence of many major road projects, as these have been largely implemented and completed.

On the contrary, we see the presence of many energy projects that take the baton as the most important projects to upgrade the country’s role in the geopolitical chessboard.

Which projects were included in the list – Which ones left
In today’s TOP-20 we have the entrance of several large projects with the top one being Line 4 of the Athens Metro. We also have entrance for the northern part of E65, the contract for the completion of Aktio-Amvrakia, the photovoltaic park in Kozani and the Komotini Power Generation Unit.

On the other hand, the projects that left the list, ie those that were completed, are the projects at the 14 Regional Airports and the Peloponnese-Crete Electric Interconnectio
