Bill for new public works and procurement framework passed by Greek parliament

The new framework for public procurement was voted by the Plenary Session of the Parliament. In the roll call vote requested by the KKE, at the beginning, 158  MPs voted in favor of the bill, while 140 MPs voted against.

158 MPs voted in favor of Article 15 of the bill, which stipulates that the bidding process of the projects can start before the issuance of the environmental conditions and the two procedures will proceed in parallel, while 140 voted against.

158 deputies voted in favor of Article 219 for the designation of sub-regions of mild development, and 140 voted against.

158 deputies voted in favor of the amendment for the suspension of the demolition protocols, 119 voted “against” and 21 declared “present”.
